Ashley graduated with her B.A. in Choral Music Education with a Concentration in Voice from the University of Delaware, studying under Dr. Paul Head, Dr. Duane Cottrell, Dr. Blake Smith and Dr. Suzanne Burton.  She spent her undergraduate years performing in a variety of different capacities spanning from UD Opera Theater to the internationally acclaimed UD Chorale.  During her time in Chorale the ensemble recorded a Christmas Album, "Carols by Candlelight", performed "Carmina Burana" with the Delaware Symphony Orchestra, embarked on a National tour and had the honor of performing as a selected ensemble for the American Choral Director's Association Convention in Boston.

While at Delaware, Ashley stayed active in the contemporary a cappella world as a four year member of UD’s premiere a cappella group, Vocal Point, serving as Assistant Performance Director in 2014 and Performance Director in 2015.  Spending four years in the group, she helped lead Vocal Point to secure several Wildcard, Quarterfinal and Semifinal victories as well as placing Third at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella finals in 2014.  During her tenure Vocal Point recorded two studio albums, "Momentum" and "Phoenix" with several tracks being featured on the Best of Collegiate A Cappella and Voices Only compilation albums.

In the summer of 2015 Ashley was selected as a member of Cape Harmony, a professional all female a cappella group based in Cape Cod, MA where she spent the summer performing daily in venues all over the Cape.  When receiving an citation from The State of Massachusetts for 10 years of success, Cape Harmony received a standing ovation from the Massachusetts Senate and House of Representatives for their performance while both were in session.  She has been featured on 4 studio albums as a soloist and vocal percussionist, as well as several singles with her current groups, all female powerhouse, Polaeris and Downbeat, a coed ensemble comprised of Vocal Point Alum.

Upon completion of her undergraduate degree she accepted a position teaching Elementary General/Choral music in Bloomfield, NJ.  Currently, she teaches Middle School Choral Music full time in Ridgewood, NJ and serves as a Vocal Coach and Social Media Director for the Rock N Roll Chorus, a selective high school aged touring ensemble.   She remains a force in the a cappella world by directing The Trebles and East 627 at Ridgewood High School, as well as serving as a clinician, choreographer, arranger and ICCA/ICHSA adjudicator.  Ashley plans to complete her Masters in Music Education from Montclair State in the fall of 2020.
